Goldbacks are a fun, flexible, and affordable means of investing in gold bullion. Produced with incredibly thin layers of 24-karat gold, Goldbacks are more than just gold notes, but also enjoy status as a voluntary form of local currency. In the case of the all-new New Hampshire Goldbacks, the notes are acceptable voluntary currency within the Granite State.
Each 1 New Hampshire Goldback Gold Note available here is brand new in the Goldback Series. These notes are packaged inside of currency sleeves for shipping, each one individually packaged inside of its own sleeve. The notes have colorized graphic fields on the obverse with no colorization present on the reverse side of the notes.
Goldbacks were first introduced for the state of Utah, with the local government in the state introducing a bill in 2011 to give Utahans an option for paying with gold once again. Though Goldback notes are not US legal tender, you do have the power to pay for goods and services within the state of issue with these Goldbacks. In order to use the notes for commercial transactions, vendors must volunteer to accept the notes.
The obverse of 1 New Hampshire Goldback Gold Notes features a depiction of Gratia, a female personification that represents one of the three Charities. According to Greek mythology, the Charities represent charm, beauty, nature, and human creativity. The Charities are often said to be just three in number, but mythological texts have pointed to numerous allegories within the Charities.
In this design field, the figure of Gratia is captured as an indigenous female personification representing the native tribes of the New England region. A traditional tribal home is featured in the background, with Gratia seated near a pumpkin wearing traditional indigenous clothing.
On the reverse of New Hampshire Goldback Gold Notes, you will find a blank field. Though the reflected image from the obverse shows through on this side, the design is not colorized with enhanced graphics in the same manner that the obverse design is.
Known as the Granite State, New Hampshire is famous in American history for becoming the first British colony to break away from the rule of Great Britain and establish its own independent government. Aurum gold notes are produced by Valaurum in the United States of America using 24-karat gold.
