When it comes to cast bars and minted ingots, cast bars are often the preferred choice of investors. There are a number of reasons for this, but the two biggest are affordability and range of options.

Gold is melted and poured by hand or computerized equipment into a pre-set cast to produce bars of certain shapes and weights. The bars are then left to cool by air or dumped into water to accelerate the cooling of the bar.

There is also an individual serial number on the bar, and all engravings are arranged horizontally from the left to the right of the bar.

Each 250 Gram Valcambi Cast Gold Bar product must feature its year of issue, purity, weight, and individual serial number engraved on the bar in order to meet the London and Comex Good Delivery standards.
