Description
Each 5 oz Germania Mint Cast Silver Bar is made of .9999 pure silver and is available for purchase online, in new condition, directly from the mint. The bars arrive in black presentation boxes or boxes of 20 bars, which have a viewing window to display the obverse field of the silver bar. The obverse design features the logo of the Germania Mint, which consists of a double-headed eagle set on a shield, topped by a crown and flanked by olive branches. The name of the mint and other identifying hallmarks are also found on this side of the bars, along with an individual serial number engraved at the bottom of each bar.
The reverse field of the 5 oz Germania Mint Silver Bar is left blank on purpose, but it comes with the rough finishes that result from the rustic finish of cast silver bars. The casting process can result in bubbles, textures, and other striations that you may find on this side of the bar. This face also includes a hologram from the Germania Mint that helps verify the identity of each individual silver bar.
This series of silver bars is the latest addition to the Germania Cast Silver Series and is an unlimited issue. Originally offered in weights of 100 Grams, 250 Grams, 500 Grams, and 1 Kilogram, the series now expands to offer Troy oz silver bars. The first options available include 5 oz silver and 10 oz silver bars.
