Each 2024 1/4 oz British Gold Tudor Beasts Seymour Unicorn Coin is available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. These coins come packaged individually in protective plastic flips. For larger orders, coins come in tubes of 25, or Monster Boxes of 500 coins with 20 tubes in the box. This coin is the smallest weight in the series.
The Seymour Unicorn is the 4th BU design in the series and the 5th overall in the series. The Seymour Unicorn has been a part of the Royal Arms since the Union of Scotland and England during the reign of King James I. However, it appeared in heraldry in England more than half a century earlier. The mythical creature has long been associated with grace, purity, and nobility.
The obverse of this 2024 1/4 oz Gold Tudor Beasts Seymour Unicorn Coin features the effigy of King Charles III. This coin is the second in the series to feature the new effigy of the King. Charles III is shown in left-profile relief with no crown as identifying marks of the coin surround the image.
The reverse field of the 2024 British Gold Tudor Beasts Seymour Unicorn Coin showcases the Seymour Unicorn. This image showcases the beast holding up the six-quartered Arms of Jane Seymour. The Unicorn is also being tied down by a chain that’s wrapped around its neck.
