That series would carry on for nearly two decades, growing in size and prominence, until 2008 when the Austrian Silver Philharmonic Coin was introduced in 2008. Eight years later, the Austrian Platinum Philharmonic was introduced to round out the series with three of the most preferred precious metals available.
