When the Chinese Mint introduced the Chinese Gold Pandas in 1982, the series had four coins available and came only with gold coins for sale. The coins available from that first year were the 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/10 oz gold coins. With the rebranding of the series in 2016 to feature Grams instead of Troy oz for the weights, the original 1/2 oz gold coin became the 15 Gram gold coin.

All of these 2022 15 Gram Chinese Gold Panda Coins are available to you in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The coins are available individually packaged inside sealed plastic pouches from the mint.

Obverse visuals on 2022 Chinese Gold Panda Coins include the image of the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests. This building is the central structure in the Temple of Heaven Complex, one of four major religious sites in Beijing. The Temple of Heaven is a Taoist religious site and its main building, the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests, was built between 1406 and 1420.

Reverse designs on 2022 15 Gram Gold Panda Coins include the depiction of two playful pandas. In this design, the pandas are shown sliding down a hill in the snow. One of the pandas is on its back with its four legs up in the air as it slides along. The other panda is on its stomach going down the hill head-first. This side of the coin features a special 40th-anniversary mark to celebrate this major milestone.
