The 2023 10 oz British Silver Robin Hood Coin is part of the Myths and Legends Series from the Royal Mint. It comes in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and is delivered with either plastic capsules or boxes of 15 coins. This coin is the first design from the series and is the largest silver bullion coin in the collection. It contains 10 Troy oz of .9999 pure silver and has a face value of 10 Pound sterling (GBP) backed by the British government.

The obverse side of the coin features Queen Elizabeth II in right-profile relief wearing the George IV State Diadem Crown, a design created by Jody Clark for the Royal Mint in 2015. On the reverse field of the coin, you will find a depiction of Robin Hood, the legendary hero of British folklore. Robin Hood is shown on a tree branch as he carefully aims at his target using his bow and arrow.

The Myths and Legends Series offers new reverse designs featuring images of Robin Hood and members of his Band of Merry Men, including Little John and Maid Marian. Robin Hood was a skilled archer and swordsman who, in some versions of the tale, served with King Richard I in the Crusades. Upon returning to Britain, he used his skills to steal from the rich to give to the poor, particularly targeting tax collectors who were stripping the poor of Britain to support Prince John.
