2024 marks the Year of the Dragon in the Chinese zodiac. Specifically, 2024 brings us the Year of the Wood Dragon, an event that happens once every 60 years. The Year of the Dragon will commence on February 10, 2024, and end on January 28, 2025. According to the University of Washington, more babies are born during Years of the Dragon than any other year.

Each 2024 1 oz Argor-Heraeus Lunar Dragon Gold Bar will arrive in a sealed blisterpack to preserve the condition of your gold bar. Included in this blisterpack is an Assay card that authenticates the weight and purity of your purchase. A unique serial number is also placed on this blisterpack.

The obverse of each 2024 Argor-Heraeus Lunar Dragon Gold Bar features a unique image of a dragon. This dragon is shown looking to the left as its body weaves around the entire design field. Also featured are clouds as well as the traditional Chinese character for dragon.

The reverse side of the 2024 1 oz Lunar Dragon Gold Bar showcases the identifying marks of the bar. From top to bottom, these marks include the mint, location of the mint, metal weight, metal purity, assayers mark, and serial number. This serial number will be a unique number out of 28,888.
