Each of the 2024 1/10 oz American Gold Eagle Coins available here comes in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The 1/10 oz gold coins in this series are offered individually in protective plastic flips or by multiples of 50 coins in acrylic tubes.
The demand for American Gold Eagles ebbs and flows based on the demand of investors each year. Throughout its history, the various weights in the BU Gold Eagle Series have surged upward and retreated back based on market factors. The 1/10 oz Gold Eagle holds the record for the highest single-year mintage with 2.75 million coins sold in 1999 amidst the Y2K crisis.
The obverse of the 2024 American Gold Eagle features Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ inspiring portrait of Lady Liberty. Designed in 1907 for the $20 Gold Double Eagle, this visual captures Liberty in front-facing relief with the olive branch of peace and a guiding light in the form of a torch.
On the reverse of 2024 1/10 oz Gold Eagles, the US Mint features the new bald eagle design introduced in 2021. Created in 2020 by Jennie Norris, this visual shows the head of the bald eagle in left-profile relief.
