The obverse face of 10 oz American Reserve Silver Bars includes the stylized letters “AR” in the center that interlock with one another. Designs on both faces of the bar are arranged vertically down the face of the bar. At the top are two crossed pick axes, with “American Reserve” inscribed beneath. The aforementioned initials are in the center of the field, with “Fine Silver 999 10 oz” below that. The Asahi Refining USA mint mark is at the very bottom of the bar and the entire background field boasts a rock-like visual finish.

On the reverse side, the 10 oz American Reserve Silver Bar features the American bald eagle. The powerful symbol of the United States is shown here against a clear background field as it sits perched on a tree branch. Though its wings are at a rest, the bird’s eyes remain fixed toward the distance.
