Asahi Refining has multiple locations all over the world such as Salt Lake City, Utah, Miami, Florida, Tokyo, Japan, and Toronto, Canada. The company’s original location was in Japan, but they took over the refineries and assaying center of Johnson Matthey in North America in 2016 to establish their global footprint. Since taking over, the mint now produces silver rounds and bars for purchase.

Each purchase of a 1 oz Asahi Dragon Silver Round will come packaged inside a protective plastic flip preserving the brand-new condition of your silver round. For multiples of 20, rounds will be shipped in tubes.

The obverse field of each 1 oz Dragon Silver Round features the Asahi logo. The logo appears front and center on the round encased in a circle. Identifying marks of the round such as the weight, purity, and series name surround the logo.

A unique dragon design is featured on the reverse of the Asahi Dragon Silver Round. The dragon is seen intertwined with a Cypress Tree that appears from the bottom of the round. The tree is noteworthy as 2024 marks the Year of the Wood Dragon according to the Chinese zodiac. Also featured is the traditional Chinese character for the word dragon.
