Each 2023 1 oz Somalia Silver Elephant Coin available here comes to you individually in a plastic flip. Multiples are also available with acrylic tubes available for 20 coins and Monster Boxes for 500 coins. Monster Boxes hold 25 individual tubes of 20 coins each. All coins are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.

This may be the 20^th issue of the coins in this series as the Somalia Silver Elephant, but it is actually the 25^th issue of the coins overall. Broadly known as the African Wildlife Series Elephant Coin, this series was issued from 1999 to 2003 as the Zambia Elephant before being rebranded in 2004 for Somalia.

The obverse side of the 2023 Somalia Silver Elephant Coin comes with a depiction of the coat of arms of Somalia. This design is consistent throughout the series and features a crowned shield supported by leopards. The shield has a field of horizontal lines with a single star in the center.

On the reverse face of 2023 1 oz Silver Elephant Coins, you will find the latest image of the African bush elephant from the Bavarian State Mint. This year’s design focuses on the head of the African bush elephant. Set in right-profile relief, the elephant uses its trunk to pull down a tree branch so it can dine on the foliage within the tree.
