On the obverse of 2023 British Gold Tudor Beasts Bull of Clarence Coins, you will find a new portrait of King Charles III. Designed in late 2022 by Martin Jennings, this is the first portrait of Charles III’s reign and includes an opposing orientation for his bust compared to the reign of his mother, Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The reverse side of the 2023 1 oz Gold Tudor Beasts Bull of Clarence Coins includes the powerful image of the Bull supporting a shield with the Tudor Rose. The Bull of Clarence became prominent during the reign of King Edward IV, who belonged to the House of York. Edward IV used the symbol to represent his claim to the throne and as a personal emblem. The black color of the bull symbolizes strength and power.
